Foxy Bargain

Hello Beauties,

I recently came across a video from Sprinkle of glitter on YOUTUBE about a fox bag ( which you can watch HERE!) and absolutely fell in love with them. Now sprinkle of glitter also none as Louise got her bags for around £12 on Ebay , now i don't settle for  first price as i am quite the bargain hunter if you must no so i trawled the internet to find me myself i & you the same bag but only cheaper and i found them for £6.49 inc p&p what a steal so if you like the look of it go and check them out Feeling foxy? get your fox bag here i am pure cheese i no. For the cheap price the product certainly is not cheap looking i am sure its a faux leather but you would never tell the bag is soft and more expensive looking than £6.49 enjoy xoxox

My summer make-up routine & hiding redness

Hello Beauties :)

Well this is a bit of a treat, this is not a post I normally do , and wasnt to sure  about snapping away pictures of me without make-up but i thought FUDGE IT .....who cares? So here is my everyday summer foundation routine which includes hiding redness.
Like it love it hate it whatever just enjoy it .....

Some of the products i used , MAC face & body foundation, Chanel gel bronzer , MUA red lipstick,

Prime your face this will help all your make-up stay on during the hot weather , iam using Monu skin perfecting primer

I use green concealer to help conceal all my redness i apply i quite thick and blend the edges out using a clean ring finger

For my face im using MAC face & body foundation in N2 & a beauty blending sponge i find it applys better than a brush and this does not disturb my work with the green concealer

I dont always use bronzer but i have caught such a tan over the past week , i feel my foundation does not match my skin 100%

I apply a peachie blush just to the applys of my cheeks this is Superdrugs MUA in shade 5

I use a angled brush and my beautiful brow kit to fill in my eyebrows , a good alternative is MUA shade 15 chocolate brown eyeshadow

I am using red lipstick this is MUA shade 13 , i apply it lightly and blend it out with my finger to create a more raspberry than red colour

And here is my final look :)

Homemade Eye-lid primer

Bonjour,
I have used so many different eyelid primers and some are very cost effective ( Urban Decay Primer Potion for example which retails at a whopping £18) Now i don't know if its just me but £18 for a rare occasion of eye shadow is a bit of a splurge, so here's a simple cost effective homemade solution that works just as well and is also good for sensitive skin.

YOU WILL NEED:

  • Body butter of your choice
  • Foundation ( medium to full coverage)
  • Cotton Bud ( Cutip for my american followers :))
  • A empty pot or shadow to pan to store it

I am using body shop butter & Rimmels wake me up foundation

I used to squirts of foundation & half a thumb of body butter

Mix the foundation and the butter together until all the butter is covered in foundation and it is a cream consistency

Transfer it to your chosen pot using a cotton bud or a spatula

Smooth it down using the cotton bud and clean around the edges

Pop it in the fridge over night and WELLLLLAAAAA :)

Heres a picture of a swatch i took the top one is the eyeshadow applied with a brush and NO  primer and the lower one is also applied with a brush and the homemade primer underneath good huh ;)

Let me no if you try this and how you get on i would love to no :)

MUA Lipsticks

Heyo Beauties

So i went to Chester Monday for a little pre-hoilday shopping splurge ( went a little bit crazy , and YES i will try and get round to a haul ) and i went to superdrugs as i love MUA and they don't stock it in my local Superdrug, i have allll of the MUA eyeshadows but i have never tryed there lipsticks so i bought a few and wanted to share with you my thoughts and reviews on this product enjoy xoxox

Shade 13, Shade 4, Shade 2, Shade 11, Shade 15 ( Juicy) . If our wondering why the very last one has a name its because it is from there new range of colours and have always just been numbers but now i think there giving them names which is so much better :)

PROS

  • Affordable
  • Long Lasting
  • SOME are very well pigmented
  • Wide choice of colour's
CONS
  • The packaging is not very pretty
  • SOME colours are not very pigmented
  • They have a slight waxy feel to them

Shade 4 & 15 are my favorite summer shades which are a pink & a coral but as you can tell from the swatch these are the least pigmented shades , the other 3 colours are super pigmented and have long lasting colour, the other 2 ( shade 4&15) are still wearable as they wear more like a lip butter but for a £1 there abit of a steal arnt they?

Let me know if you've tried them and what you think.

Make-up/Face& body care Organisation using everyday items

Good Afternoon Bloggers,

Being a beauty fanatic , like most of you reading my blog will be ( i'am guessing that's why it interests you) i thought i would share with you my make up organisation tips, i have far to much make-up in my own opinion although some people make think its not a lot at all. I have watched loads of youtube videos on how people store there make up but have never found anything that is easy to get hold of and cost effective so i thought i would  share with you my ways of organizing hope you enjoy :)

This is what i use to hold all my make-up is basically just a small chest of drawers i do have a dressing table ( vanity for you americans :) but because it has space to put my legs i like to put my laptop there and use it to do all my blogging

This is what i use to hold my brushes and all my favorite foundations , they are plant pots that you get when you buy Orchard flowers there really handy and i put rice in the bottom of the brush one to help all my brushes stay up ,.

Some of my favourite foundations and primers from left to right , Monu skin perfecting primer , No7 Colour calming primer ( to conceal redness) Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua (B40)  on top of that one is 17 Adapt-itude ( medium dark) , 2 Rimmel wake me up foundation 1 in true ivory the other in classic beige, M&S Perfection SPF20 foundation in brown suede, Boujour 123 perfect in Vanilla , Body shop Flawless skin  protecting SPF25 foundation in 04, and my most recent purchase Cllinique Redness Solution in calming honey .

In The top picture you can see a wicker basket on the left hand side this is what i use to hold my palettes it cost about £2.99 from asda but you can pick them up in most home stores, these are some of my everyday palettes.

This is a cutlery organiser which you can pick up at any kitchen or home store there so cheap and start off a around 89p there perfect for holding mascaras , single eyeshadow blushes and bronzers.

This is the same as the above and in the corner you can see a square cardboard box which is a old perfume box which i cut the top of to store lipsticks so i could see the colours/names

These are old glossyboxes whish i turn upside down to store my products in , it really helps because it stops your products moving everywhere when you open the draws , normal boxes could be used , in the back is a old card tin which i split t old cuticle tips , cotton buds (cutips) and nail glitters

This ones quite blurred so sorry about that but there not much organised  in it anyway just thought i would show you how i store the rest of my palettes which you can see on the right , i used a ceramic square thing that i got with a St Tropez kit but again boxes would be fine for this.

Again this is another old glossy box opened and turned upside down this is AMAZING for holding nail polishes , i really want to get a stand but there really expensive so this is the next best thing they hold them upright ( which stops them going clumpy) and also stop them from moving .

I hope you enjoyed this post and found it helpful.

DISCLAIMER: All of the above products are bought with my own money, I am not bragging in anyway shape or form but have had a few emails asking how i store my make-up and wanted to share it with my followers.

May Book review

Hello beauties ....

This post is something completely different to what i normally would do , but since Febuary i vowed to myself i would start reading again , i have done exactly this since Febuary i have read a whopping 11 books and just about to move on to my 12th ..... I really love girlie books and without sounding completely strange i like reading abuse books because i find them interesting and there's always such happy endings i have recently just finished all of Lauren Conrads LA Candy books ( currently waiting for the delivery of fame game ) i really recommend these book , but while waiting for ''The fame Game'' I decided to read something completely different to what i normally enjoy ''The Hunger Games'' , I could not recommend this book enough i was desperate to see the film but always find that the books are better so opted to read them first .... I'am so excited to watch the film now has anyone seen the film and could tell me how could it is ?

30th May

Monthly Mayhem

Hello beauty geeks :)

So here is my idea , i have started eating really healthy recently mainly because i am going to Greece in June with the Boyfriend and also because i have been inspired by a lot of the beauty gurus , so i have cut out milk, tea (except herbal tea) coffee fizzy drinks chocolate , crisps bla bla basically everything that tastes nice wahhhh :( , so my idea is that although i am eating super healthy each month i will set myself a challenge to do for a week , the challenge will be something i am trying to improve or don't have in my life , like trying new healthy foods , home cooking water exercise etc.

So my challenge for the month of may is The Water challenge and I am TOO excited to do this every day i will be aiming to drink 2 liters a day and i will be write a diary every day for the week on the same blog post so keep checking back for that wish me luck and if anyone wishes to join in leave your blogs as a comment and ill be sure to check them out :))
